BASIC is a college and young adult ministry (ages 18-22) serving the Cedar Falls area. We gather for worship on Thursday nights and offer Life Groups that meet weekly to study the Bible and grow in relationship with others.

We believe diversity and unity go hand-in-hand. God created us all in his image—to be different, and to also be one. We believe His Church is much bigger than BASIC alone, and we welcome joining hands in all areas of life.
Leadership Development
God created us all with unique gifts and asks us to use them for His Kingdom! We prioritize offering opportunities for people to lead using their gifts—practicing the servant leadership Jesus called us into.

Whether through music, serving others, or using our gifts, we worship God because of all he’s done and will do for us. We seek to worship God through all parts of our lives in a way that is powerfully irresistible.

Jamaica
A unique short-term mission trip.

Since 2013, BASIC has partnered with the Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf (CCCD) in Jamaica in serving alongside those engaged in full time ministry in the country.

Each Spring Break, we travel to Jamaica to work on projects with our friends in Jamaica, learn from them, and build relationships with the students and staff at the schools.
