At the core of Jesus’ teachings is an invitation to life to the full (John 10:10). While Jesus’ work on the cross has already defeated the thief who tries to rob us of that life, we still face hurdles and spiritual forces that seek to keep us from following Jesus. The battle is real, but the victory is already won, and God’s Spirit within us empowers us to stand firm.
