Providing a meal for a grieving family is one of the most tangible ways we can show the love of Jesus during a heavy season. If you are looking for a highly flexible, low-pressure way to serve your church community, this team is a perfect fit. This is a great opportunity for families (even with littles) to serve together right from home!
How it works: We maintain an email list of volunteers. When a funeral lunch is scheduled, we’ll send out a quick email requesting a specific number of salads or desserts to be dropped off at the Orchard Hill kitchen.
The Commitment: Zero pressure. Because our list is large, you only opt in when the timing works for your family or work schedule. If you're busy, just pass on that week's request and jump in next time! It’s a short-term serve with a massive, comforting impact.
